Parker, get the Rolls Royce. We're going for a little drive.

FAB 1 model kit, Lincoln International, Hong Kong, 1965
And another pink six-wheeled Rolls for the collection. This one had quite a nice story, really. I found the box (empty) about 7 years ago at a car-show here in Lisbon.

A number of years later the car passed by and got reunited... The kit has an electric motor that is activated through the black switch you see on the left side of the car.

Left, the IMAI kit - right, the Lincoln one...

The POP phenomenon gets to Gotham...

Stores have opened here in Portugal with these things... At Comic Con, it was the latest rage... It's POP! My only regret : they could have made these with rolling wheels so you could actually play with the car...

Going to the moon... going, going... and gone

These little sets from the 70ies date back to a time when moonwalks were still shown on the television sets around the world each night. Then the Apollo missions ended... and a lot of the magic too.

False Zeroids ?

Astroid Robots, Durham Ind. Hong Kong, 1970's

The blue one looks like Zerak...
... and the orange one like Zobor

If there ever is a "design" of the 70ies for robots, this is it. All plastic with tracks and computer-paper-stickers on their chests.

A little taller than the real battery-operated ones from Ideal !
Well, they had to put the windup mechanism somewhere...
