Jeeg

Jeeg, Onda, Japan
1970's

This is one of the vinyl versions of Jeeg the robot. The original diecast toy was a very clever use of magnetic joints on the limps and head, which let you build and unbuild it at your leisure.

Dark rubbery Sith, where are you ?

Pendant, ?, China, 2010's
It's crude, but so is Vader...

The force rubber is strong sticky with this one...
With all that dust, no wonder about that asthma !
Been to Tatooine lately ? It shows... go and take a shower !
I find your lack of... dustproof showcases... disturbing !

OK, ok, I'll stop now.

The Tumbler...

Tumbler and Batman, Hotwheels, China 2010's

Nothing to do with the designs of Batmobiles of the past. This is a tank. A superduper SUV. And yes... it comes in black too. And forget CGI... it realy exists and drives.

The real deal...

Holly sandbox, Batman !

Batmobile, Duncan, USA, 1970's

OK, it did not have all the cool gimmicks of the Corgi Toys Batmobile... but at least it was sturdy enough to take to the beach and drive in the sand...

A Barris Kustoms SUV ? Not quite... But it did not rust. And it did not cost me 4.2 million USD like the real one.

Shooting fists that help the trees grow ? cool !
