Batmobile goes Smurfin ?

No... not really. This is the ETOILE FILANTE, from french car manufacturer RENAULT. This car was Renault's only attempt at breaking world speed records, and an attempt to use aeronautic technologies (= gas-turbine engine) to do so. The car went at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 1956, where it got the speed record for turbine-powered cars at a speed of 307.4 km/h (191 mph).
